What is PulseIt Community?

Only a way to read amazing teen books for free online, and have your voice heard as a reviewer, trend-spotter, and all-around expert. How does it work?

Two new books are added every month and readers have 60 days to read a book online once it becomes available on the PulseIt website.  You cannot print or download the book.  Don’t worry, though, we’ll save the last page you were reading for the next time you log in.  However, please note that after the 60 days are up, you will no longer have free online access to the book so make sure you finish it before the deadline expires.  (Two new books every month!)

The Pulse It website community is a shared reading experience and a way for readers to connect and discuss books with other members. So after you’ve read the book, let us and other members know what you think – write a review in the book review section. Writing a review of a book on Pulse It will earn you points and make you eligible for monthly contests!

How do I get started?

PulseIt requires a log on to keep track of your reading and to award points toward prizes.  Users are encouraged to create a profile including city and state but not to reveal your name, phone number, e-mail address or other contact information to others on the web site.

This page includes links to the privacy policy, terms of use, community rules, contest rules, reader instructions and more if you or your parents have questions.  PulseIt is owned by Simon & Schuster publishers and highlights authors and books being under contract by Simon & Schuster or their subsidiaries.

  1. I made Pulse It account yesterday and read a book rightaway. It was a novel called Galgorithm. The novel was nice, funny and refreshing. Even the story was cliche but the way the writer wrote the story was nice, so it’s worth it.
I think reading books online is cool and pretty comfortable (especially in Pulse It, LOL), because I don’t have to pay…. LOL, spare me, I’m a student 🙂
I didn’t leave a reply yet, because I still don’t know how it works. But I’ll make sure to write one when I do have the chance…
